Terms of Service

By downloading or using Unified Dev you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

1. License

Unified Dev is proprietary software. Subject to your compliance with these terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use Unified Dev on macOS devices that you own or control.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of Unified Dev or any part of it.

2. Plans and payment

Unified Dev is available under three plans: Free, Pro, and Ultimate. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. All prices are in EUR and inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

3. Refunds

We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. To request a refund, email support@akira-io.com with your order ID. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable.

4. License activation

A paid license may be activated on up to 2 machines simultaneously. You can deactivate a machine at any time from Settings inside the app. We reserve the right to revoke a license if we detect abuse of the activation system.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Unified Dev to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Attempt to circumvent license verification or activation mechanisms.
  • Distribute malicious code or interfere with third-party services accessed through the app.

6. Third-party services

Unified Dev integrates with third-party services including GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Anthropic, OpenAI, and GitHub Copilot. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Unified Dev is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use Unified Dev.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email where required by law. Continued use of Unified Dev after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Cape Verde, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cape Verde.
